Using the iPhoneCheckbox EDIT control on the VIEW page

I purchased this plugin in the hope that with it having both view and edit controls, that it would permit me to change a Boolean value from the view page. But that's not how it works.
Is there a way to do this? Or an alternative way to do it?
Say I have a master record, and many associated detail records. On the details view page I can see all the detail records. I'd like to find a way to change a Boolean directly from the view page with a single click/button. It currently requires four steps to edit, click the Boolean, save the record, and then return to the list. This is just too slow when a number of detail records need to be updated, thus I need to be able to update each of them with a single click on each row directly from the view page.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
