I have been using the latest versions of PHPRunner for the past 4 years and more.
I am posting this notice simply to find out how many other people are using the latest PHPRunner 8 version 22883 and are having no problems whatsoever with file corruptions, data dumps, "missing strCode" errors.
But ever since I installed 22790 and then 22883 I am getting errors that I have never seen before.
And projects are crashing with connection strCode errors when I try to save or build the project.
I get a dump which is a corrupt file since it closed early. I cannot open the same phpr file after that.
These problems started with 22790 when triggering the lookup wizard for a field caused a screen whiteout and program dump and corruption of that file.
These problems continue with 22883, lookup wizard fails, or simply saving a project file and then Build.
This has caused disaster today for a demo to be performed at a client workplace.
Even just a change to the menu, editing the name of a page in the menu, saving and building has caused crashes which corrupts the file and it cannot be reopened.
These Runner fails are happening with a frequency of 50%.
I can ONLY get through a project without fails and without Lookup Wizard fails and without "missing strCode" errors using version 22724.
22724 WORKS over and over. The last 2 updates are bombing within 15 minutes. And this includes with projects that I created with the last 2 versions.
Since this is happening on my local machine with the program itself it is not useful to set up an online demo of the finished code.
This is my development machine.

addendum: I note that the Lookup Wizard when it works does not provide a default way to UNSELECT an ORDER BY Column
If I use an ORDER BY and select one of the key fields in the table if it does not work out as I expect then I cannot return to the ORDER BY selection window, click to open it, and then choose an empty value for the Order by.
There is NO way to DELETE or wipe out the "Order by" field.
I have to completely reset the Lookup Wizard to nothing, in effect, save the project, and then come back into this same field and choose the table and link field and View fields and then do not touch the Order by to create a new Query.
This must be an oversight.
