PHPRUNNER 7.0 sessions

I read this post: http://www.asprunner.com/forums/topic/21725-phprunner-7-0-sessions/ regarding the re-login between applications created with Phprunner 7. I'm wondering if it's necessary a similar workaround in Phprunner 8, because i need to avoid the sessions isolation for projects running on the same site
