I have a weird problem with one of my reports:
For this specific report, I enabled a number of fields to always be shown on the search panel. (I did this under totals/search and filter settings)
On the edit page, I can see all the fields in the search panel.
But when I build and upload the project, no fields appear on the search panel AT ALL.....
The dropdown to "show search options" also does not work at all.
Another problem is that the standard search in the search panel does not work at all.
I have tried the following to get the search fields to show:
- enabling and disabling all the fields to be shown in the search panel
- freeze search panel on and off
- rebuilt the project numerous times
- upload changed files only / all files
- tried clearing my browser cache
- tried different browsers
- deleted the report and created a new one
- search saving on and off
- edit / reset the page in the editor
am I missing something elementary?
Edit : I think it might be a permissions problem of some kind. This seems to happen when you use lookups from other databases in the search panel.
Another Edit: Dammit! Am I the only one with this issue? I have a new report created by a database union: search panel works fine. The search panel has a date between search option. When I change this to use the date picker, it breaks the search panel. Change it back to dropdowns and it works..... ? I will do some more testing.
