Freeze table columns

I find out that it can't be use position: fixed / absolute to freeze several columns in edit html of the list page.

Any hints can make freeze panes be possible?

Check 'Scroll table data' option under Choose pages->List page->Settings.

Thanks for your help.
but the 'scroll table data' function just can fixed the column head.

I still brainstorming for fixed columns.
