Log Of Searches Done From Search Page OR Search On LIst Page

Hello,
Is there a way to capture the values a person enters in the search page or the search on the list page? So if a person searches for the term "Apples" in a field named "Fruit", it will insert a record into a log table stating this person searched for "Apples" in the "Fruit" field. The log will also have the capability of multiple search fields.
I thought I recalled seeing something in the forum, but can't find it.
I will be using PHP Runner 6.2 Enterprise, MSSQL.
