I guess my first question would be, is there a updated manual for the latest version or a place to see the changes that have taken place between 6.2 -> 7.0? I've got to say I see alot of great things that have been implemented to make things easier, but some of the items I don't completely understand what they are or how to use them. Example of this is the Auto update field found in the edit as dialog for the visual editor, an example of how this is used and where its populating? Or examples on the "filter as" feauters.
My opinion is still undetermined on the new default page layout, while I l really like how the system automatically places the fields into two multiple column layout is there a way to control this for each page? Some pages with a small number of fields I like to be in a single stack, but the system splits it up. The one thing I am not a big fan of and I think its a little of my programming OCD is the alignment of the fields in relation ship to the labels. There is no longer a cell of a table to use the standard align that we had in the past. I've tried using the CSS style editor and had gotten it closer but it still requires more tweaking to get things into a clean looking format. This last item with all use of all the SPAN's within the DIV's has me affraid to update any of my large projects. Which brings me to my last item for this post. I did notice that there is a auto lock pages with custom code. What determines it meets the custom code and is there the ability to turn this off/on based on a particular page? I'm glad to see this made the version after requesting such a few months back, but want some clarification on what's taking place.
