Time and Date datatypes

Hello,
It appears ASPR 7.2 doesn't support the "new" SQL Server 2008 datatypes TIME and DATE. First, is this assumption true? Do I need to set all of these datatypes to the older DateTime?
Second, if this is true, are there plans to support these datatypes in the future?

When you saying "doesn't support datatype", what exactly do you mean? What kind of support you looking for?

I set my data type to DATE and it works just fine for me and my project started at 7 and is @ 7.2 now. i have set data types right in SQL and right through the ASPrunners sql manager.
