Chrome Issue On Upload Files (Firefox Is Ok)

Hi all,

In my application i link files (stored in a folder inside the webserver) with the FILE/IMAGE control (in compatibility mode)till today all was ok.
Now:

  • if the file i try to link is already in the folder i have an error MOVE UPLOADED FILE...function.move-uploaded-file...failed to open stream permission denied - and the file disappear (deleted)
  • if the file is outside the folder (es. on my desktop) all is ok
    This only with Google Chrome, with Firefox all is ok in both the cases.

    Until today Chrome was ok too...today not, no installaing of updates or other things.
    Some help?

Sounds a bit of strange as this error is server-side related meaning browser type should not affect it.
I would suggest to try this application on some other web server i.e. on your live server or on Demo Account.
PS. Chrome auto-updates itself but this should not be the reason as error is on the server side.

Found the problem (big problem) Chrome last version (25..) have the problem, precedent version (24..) all is good.

But seems to be almost impossible to disable automatic update or reinstall previous version of chrome.
Hope that Big G solve the problem..you know if there is a manner to send the problem to google ?
