How To Add Tool Tips On Registration Page

We've all used the Label Editor under MISC to add tool tips to our tables and fields and this works great. However, I am having a difficult time figuring out a good way to have tool tips on the REGISTRATION PAGE. The registration page is of course built from the table Users. Table Users has tool tips defined in the Label Editor so if you opened Table Users in Edit/Add view you would have tool tips. BUT the Registration page is not part of the Label Editor so we can't apply tool tips there. I know there is a method to add a tool tip using Jscript and the like. I'm just wondering if there is an easier way? It would be GREAT to be able to have tool tips on the Registration Page and on the Search page too.
