Cancelling An Inline Add Seen

I am trying to set up an inline add for a master/detail list page and I see that if you cancel the add it shows up in the detail section although blank. I checked and nothing is added to the table. I want the cancel to really cancel. In the screen shot (link) you will see where I have done an inline add and then cancelled it and this is the result.
