Forum template not working

When I try to work the forum template example located here: http://www.asprunner.com/forums/topic/14128-forum-template/
I get the following error:
Error parsing database script: c:\program Files (x86)\phprunner6.2\templates\business\forum\database\db.xml
Indeed, there is no such file ("db.xml") in the template zipfile that one downloads to work the example. I'm guessing the template files set format changed or something since the example was created, perhaps, breaking the instantiation of templates into projects? Is there an update or am I off the mark?
Best regards.

Forum template was created for PHPRunner 5.2 and won't work with later versions of PHPRunner.

I was under the impression that PHPRunner was very robust with respect to forward compatibility between versions. In other words, the projects, templates and other files one created with it would move forward pretty painlessly as one upgraded to newer versions of PHPRunner. I understand BACKWARDS compatibility is not supported, and reasonably so, but I've been assuming my projects and templates and other such things I create with PHPRunner would move forward without general trouble.
Is this not the case? Templates are version-specific and won't migrate forward? Are there other issues with forward migration from version to version that I should be aware of?
Best regards.

Forum template was a free experimental template. It didn't raise enough interest to continue development. All supported templates will work in future versions.
