Linked Table record not created

I have an Access database with two tables, TBL_LWRMAIN and TBL_LWR_LAB with a linked field called LWR_NUMBER which is an autonumber field. When I create a record in TBL_LWRMAIN I need a record with the same LWR_NUMBER to be created in the TBL_LWR_LAB table with all the other fields blank. Right now it does not create the record. I tried the Update multiple Tables event example in the instructions, but it did not create the record. I am using ASPRUNNER 7.1. Any ideas on how I can get the record to be created?
