Hi,
I am upgrading to the 7.1 and enterprise versions. Before I do I wanted to ask a few questions.

  1. Time Picker, when using this (i need to select all minutes and seconds). It is very difficult and frustrating to use since you have to select the hour by mousing over it then navigate below to the minutes but then if your minute is not at the sides or bottom before the seconds it will not stay on what you selected since it changes because you have to mouse over other numbers to get to the bottom for the seconds and the AM/PM (i need 12 hour time). Is there any easier way? am i missing something with the time picker?
  2. Is there a way to use drop downs for the time instead of the date picker?
  3. The time picker at the bottom of the date picker is in 24hour mode can this be changed to 12 hour? Also can the time picker be set for the current date and time once you click on the date picker vs setting it for now() which will populate the field before the date picker with time picker is selected?
long story short, i would like to have 3 time fields that can be selected by the user where they can easily select that does not create an issue when selecting. I think i am missing something with the way 7.1 works with the time picker.
Last question: I have a MS access DB that has a linked table to a sql database (view). I can setup the dropdown for a field (within my table) and test it and it pulls the data once I build the project and deploy it, it does not give me the add a record feature on my table. If i remove the drop down the add record button appears on the main table so i can input the entry.
When these are answered I am ready to purchase my upgrades.
    Thanks!
    Gerry

If I could get some of these answered, I could make the purchase instead of going with a competitior. I love the product, just want to get clarification on the questions I had.
Thanks

I would suggest to forward sales question to support directly. I doubt anyone but support can answer those.

  1. Not sure I understand this one. Probably you can make a screenshot that illustrates the issue.
  2. Yes, you can use dropdowns for time editing. Some custom coding will be required if you decide to have a different drodpwon box for hours, minutes and seconds. From my personal point of view selecting time using timepicker will be much faster.
  3. Timepicker that is the part of datepicker cannot be changed to 12 hours mode.
In regards to the last question - post your application to Demo Account and open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending your Demo Account URL. 'Demo Account' button can be found on the last screen in the program. Make sure to supply instructions on reproducing the issue.
