How to track user logins?

I've done a search and not been able to find a direct answer to this question.
I need to know if ASPRunner has the ability to create a log file of when users log into and out of the web page. I'm going to propose that my company purchase this software for the invenetory project that i'm in charge of. If this can be done, it would be a good selling point.

I'm not sure what is the "log file" in terms of database-based application.
Login page can be easily modified to store time of users last login and logout. You can do this adding two datetime fields to login table and adding couple lines of code to login.asp.
Note: if user do not log out explicitly by closing browser's windows logout field will be empty.
