Vew as HTML

I'm using the news template to built a module for a site when I came acroos something strange, I've changed the "Edit As" value of the "fulldescription" field to text area and clicked the "Use rich text editor" choosing the basic one which is intergrated to phprunner.
Everything seems to work ok at the "Add Page".The problem is at the view page. I've set the filed to "View as HTML". I can see the font formating (bold, underline color e.tc.) but what is not displayed is the numbering and bulleting that I applied when adding the entry. I checked what was stored in the db (Mysql text filed) and everything is in place (<ul><li>...</li></ul>).
Any ideas??
