I'm noticing that the master table row displayed at the top of a detail table view does not show the fields in the order they are set in the list view in the Field Order and Totals step in Runner.
I have tried resetting it in the Choose Fields step, set it in order in the sql statement and in the list view of the Field Order and Totals step. Even reset it in the Access database.
The only way I could change the order was to move the complete set of a fields code lines in the project file to the location spot in the order I needed.
I had built this project originally, but then my client requested fields in a different order.
I could reset the order in the list view but it does not carry over into the master row at the top of a detail table.
Apparently once a project file is saved, the order doesn't change inside the project file code...even if you change it in the Field Order and Totals step...and it seems the master table row at the top of a detail table is going by the order in the project file.
Maybe I'm missing something? Bug? Feature request - to have the master table row go by the List view order?
