I use 'Add Table' in Query Designer to have access to fields of 2 different tables.

On the EDIT page I include fields from the 'origin' table (to edit them) and one field from the added table (readonly).

When I try to save the record I get an error message: <<< Record was NOT edited >>>.
2 remarks:

If I use the identical project with

  • ASPR 6.3: works
  • ASPR 7 / 9769: works as well
    Can you check this please?

Philip,
Query Designer works exactly the same way in these versions. You need to make sure you are trying to update field from another table.
If you need more help post your application to Demo Account and open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending your Demo Account URL. 'Demo Account' button can be found on the last screen in the program.
