password protect table, page, etc without login?

Is it possible to have the phpRunner project generally available to the public for listing , searching, etc and require login only to add, edit, etc? Could this be done by table, page, field or some other level / criteria?

Thanks Cristian! I am still on the uphill side of the learning curve for phpRunner. I searched the forum but probably didnt see that thread because of my search term. Still, I dont know if I would have thought it applied. Thanks to you pointing it out and careful reading I'll give it try and see what happens.
