 Customized Screen Changes Lost

Hi,
I've lost the changes to one of my customized screens. I don't know how it happens(maybe a DB field change), but it's the 3rd time it's happened. I have backups and I can paste the HTML through the visual editor but then the fields become unselected in the "Choose Fields" page. When I reselect them my screen changes are lost again. Is there a way to restore my old screen?

Al,
you can send us project directory zipped along with your database for investigation. Need to see what we dealing with.

These problems were caused when I renamed many DB fields. By renaming the fields in the html, I was able to restore my screen settings.
