RTE text disappearing

T Tim author Hello, This is an update to my earlier post (old post), just in case someone else has this problem. It turns out that when IE 7 or 8 is in "compatibliy view" the Rich Text Editor does not display the text while typing (I see this problem with ASPRunner 6.3 but not 6.2). If you turn off compatibility view for that site, you can see the text as you type. That's how it was for me anyway. What actually got me was the "Tools/Compatibility View Settings > Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" check box was checked and mine is an application installed on an internal server (i.e. same LAN as the IE clients). Stupid compatibility view seems not that compatible with RTE. Maybe this helps someone. Karma post, over and out. Thanks Tim
