Hi All,
I am evaluating 5.3/7113 for my application, but have come across an odd bug/behaviour as I develop.
When I start from new with a master-details relationship (jobs and invoices in my case) all works fine - I can add new details records from the inline edit or edit pages of my master table. At some point though I lose the inline add facilty for the details records and also the add facility when editing the master entries full page (if there aren't any details records then all evidence of a details table is missing in the edit page). I can still see previously added details records, but I can't add new ones. (note that all the pages add/inline-add etc. are still enabled).
The only way I have found to get the add buttons back is to delete the project and start from new again. I can't work out just what I am doing when the "add" buttons vanish, but it is usually at the point where I am repeatedly customising in the visual editor to make the pages look nice (note that displayDetailTable_invoices is still present on all relevant pages - I haven't accidentally deleted it)
Anyone got any suggestions or any clue what is going on? The last time it happened it was around the time I was switching between themes to see which combination looked the best.
This really is frustrating - just when I get everything working properly and looking nice an essential function disappears!

No, it's just me being stupid - I had turned off Inline Add for that table - doh!
That does present a more general issue though as I turned it off to prevent the user viewing the invoice table and adding invoices that weren't assigned to a job. I've had a further experiment and I can force that by using the lookup wizard on the field that keys back to the jobs table to force a valid job to be selected.

Just as a reply to myself - that first post was me being dim, but the "inline add" button CAN disappear after turning the option on and off a few times. The cure is to reset the template in the editor with the option turned on and it re-appears. The html pages are quite fragile and it's easy to break the formatting when editing.
I've learned the hard way not to modify too far away from the "reset!" state, or if I do then take careful backups of the html before any substantial mod.
