Search Filters

For a shopping catalogue, many sites have multiple filters (eg. amazon) which you can apply to the data and even remove it, using ajax.
Can we do this using PHPR?

I think it would need searching on one field, then another but within the search results, and another.. etc
Something can be done using Advanced Search, but that is a bit cumbersome.
