ASPRunner occassionally balloons its memory usage and gives an out of memory message, which required a force quit through the task manager. Usually this does not impact the ASPRunner file except for missing changes between my last save and the memory issue. Also, ASPRunner offer access to a backup file that it can load. In my current situation, ASPRunner ballooned to nearly 700 MB of memory usage when it gave the out of memory issue. Since ASPRunner would not let me do anything, I had to quit it through the task manager. When I went to reopen the file, ASPRunner says that it is now a corrupt project file. Where does ASPRunner store project backup files. I really need to recover this project. If I need to start over, a week worth of work will need to be recreated.

Check tmp/backup directory inside project folder. ASPRunnerPro creates a backup copy of your project there before every build.

Nothing was there. So I notified management of the delay and moved forward with the old file. FYI, the excessive memory usage occurs sometimes when editing in the visual editor. In particular, when I am editing the add and edit pages. None of my users like the fields to all go down vertically so I edit the pages so that there are 4 columns instead of 2 for the edit, add and view pages. From a design standpoint, this works out well. but, once and a while, ASPRunner jumps the memory usage up to the point where the program freazes when I save.
One thing that would be useful in ASPRunnner is if there were an automated way to get the add, edit and view pages to use more columns instead of just the default 2. let me know if you want a screenshot of what I am talking about.
