lockup table insert on the fly - basic information needed

Dear all,
I have create a form with a lockup table which allows the user to add members on the fly. My problem is, that I need some field information in the add form from the primary form where the user comes from. The reason for this is that not all entries are allowed in all constellations. On the fly is a good idea because the user must not interrupt his normal process.
Is this possible and have anyone an idea for a solution ?

could you clarify what field values do you want to pass to the 'Add on the fly' window? Maybe a screenshot or two can help.

Hi Ann,
I will try.
In the basic form device (we will register all our PC's on each location) I have an lockup for the Reference to the User Table. It will be possible that the user isn't in this table so I will allow "add on the fly" for ththis user lookup.
But there are only some locations allowed so I need in the Ajax Popup the information for which entity (some entities have only one, some more locations but not all locations in this table are valid for the selected entity). The entity I have only in the basic form, not in the add form.
So my question is, is it possible to get this information from the basic device form. For all other part I have a solution via event.
I have try to attach a hardcopy but I don't find any way to do this.

Christian,
the only way to do it is to set up 'locations' field as dependent dropdown from 'entity' field on the Edit as setting dialog on the Visual Editor tab.
