Well hello to you all from Melbourne Australia.
I hope you can give me some pointers as I am a bit frustrated.
To give you an overview of my project, I need to create a database for my courier company. This is to document all permanent runs we do and is made up from an access database file. The file has three tables
Permanent Runs

Drop Type

Username - (purely for the logging in purposes)
My questions are:
I have the following field in the Perm Run table
Company - Text

Title of Run - Text

On days Mon, tue etc.. check boxes

Address - text

special instructions - text

drop type - Look up wizard linking to Drop Type table
How would I set this up.
Also I have done the majority of it, just cannot get the drop box to work.
Final Question, is there an easy way to edit the pages as the page where you view the actual details of the run is a column about one inch wide and has no formatting. Is there an easy way, (say using frontpage to edit this).

Hi,
proceed to Formattingtab in ASPRunner and set drop type field in Permanent Runs table as Lookup wizard.

Set Drop Typetable as Lookup table, drop type as link/display field.

The both drop type fields in Permanent Runs table and in Drop Type table should have the same format in database.
You can change fields width on the Formattingtab. Click View format - Change...

Thank you for your help, when i said column width i mean the acutal title column that runs down the left hand side of the page. Not the width of the result column.
Is that possible
Also, when I go to the list page and put a graphic in, or do anything at all to it, it permanently ruins the sort function, even if I put the page back exactly as it was. It will allow me to sort it once when i go in, but then sort and search does not work.

One more thing, when I do the drop down menu, it kind of works, and accepts the entry but when i view it the field is just blank?

Hi,
the columns width depends on browser.

However you can create custom template for your project, see some examples here
Could you clarify your questions about sort function and "blank field"? Describe what you did step by step.

Hello again,
I got it all working, thank you for your help, but there is just one more thing.
I cannot edit the list page. I have edited all others to include a table at the top and bottom of the page with logos etc and a bit of text and a background image and they all look fine, however if i touch the list page it stops the search functionality, even if i put it back to exactly how it was, it will not work. Any ideas as to why this happening, I even tried following the instructions you directed me to and the same thing happened.

Hi,
what did you change on the list page?
You can copy the content from source/list.asp file to back changes.
