List & View Pages, Display Field w/lookup Tables

Sergey,
In the "List" and "View" page we are seeing now the "Display Field Value" selected in the Drop down Box or LookUp Wizard setting in step 8-12 (Lookup Table) instead of the "Link field" or the real value of that column like the prior version.
It causes problems because most of the time we select a long description field as a "Display field" and now we are showing that value instead of "Link Field" value and it does not make any sense to display it in the "List" or "View" page.
In other words we should show the real value of the columns in the List and View pages even in they are simple codes and they are being edited with Lookup Tables.
For example;

I show "California" in my States Drop Down Boxes but finally I save "CA" to the table, so in the "List" and "View" page we should show "CA" instead of "California"

displaying this field in unified format seems more logical. Also many people asked us about it.

Sergey, Then this kind of changes that for some people is a plus and for some others is a problem, is it possible you can give us the choice to use that improvement or not by checking a check box or so at the design time?
Every time I get your new Version I have to redo some changes like for example:

  1. The Quik Jump to other List pages on the List Page: I have to take it out because I created my own dynamic menu using a Table with all the links to the List pages based on the level of authorization defined by the admin for that particular user.
  2. Now would be this change to the ..._Search.asp file you recommended me for the Advanced Search page fixing.
    Between some other little things, so would be good if we have the choice...that would make this software, so far, much more powerful.
