ODBC rights issue?

Installed ASP Runner 6.2 when my web server was not attached to a domain -
Could not create a ODBC connection to a SQL db on a domain. "NOT A TRUSTED USER ACCOUNT" error.
Attaching my server to the domain in question, a new server account was created for myself as a domain user seperate from the original machine user allows my to authenicate to the domain and ODBC sets up without error and the project talks to tables ok in edit mode.
However I cannot get a project to actually work once saved and published.
Does the issue have something to do with ASP Runner being installed by one "user" and a different user, my domain account, creating a project?
