Just realized another problem with searching in beta 3. Although I have selected in each table what I want searched - there is nothing listed in the "field orders & totals" search tab box. I attempted to search after published and nothing is queried at all.
I also noticed that when you type in a search term and hit enter - nothing happens, you must click on search and still no results.
