Pink Popup Grid Error Message in Browser?

PHPR 5.2 (4890 and previous).
When browsing tables (lists and searches) I sometimes get a fleeting (1-2sec) pink popup error messsage (from javascript) saying something about a Grid error? It dissolves on its own, the grid doesn't look gimped or broken. Does anyone know what this is, why, what to do about it?
I can't seem to specifically be able to reproduce it, its random and not dependent on browser (ie., all browsers/client OS get it, PC MAC, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc), nor where the server is (local or networked). It doesn't stay long enough to capture the screen. But it occurs several times an hour in testing. Never seen on 5.1.

Since 5.2 (now using 4905) still getting pink popup window on list page that says "Error happened: Couldn't find new grid block ...."

Any ideas how to debug this?
Edit: I can almost consistently reproduce this now by selecting detail records and delete. This is a show stopper for me and I need a solution.
Edit: Ok, have a work around. In the case of the delete, the popup is triggered by a runtime error caused by a syntax problem in $DAL statement, changed in 5.2. However, in my case the normal runtime error page was not being displayed, just the cryptic pink popup.
Anyways, fixing the syntax error has stopped the runtime error which triggered the popup. Am in business again <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=48161&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />.
But still often get pink popups when doing lists, etc. Starting to wonder if I need to completely regenerate my project. That will take me about 2 weeks to do and test, because all the client validations and events required that will need to be reinstated, so not keen to embark on that path quite yet.
