Lookup Wizard - Lookup table - How to display results

Hi I m trying out PHP runner as some one recommended. I was wondering when you create a lookup box and attach a table how do you setup the page to display the chosen results.
for example let say I have a user and I'm asking a question "how many pens do you have?" and there is a lookup table with

more than 50
How many pencils do you have?
10

20

more than 50
so the person will chose from a drop down list
and there are several questions and all uses the same lookup table. I have set this up. but when i list the user choices it doesnt display, I assume there should be a custom code added to the view as box??
