The new quick search option is brilliant.
I never realized how time saving it was until I started searching records and didn't have to keep switching to the advanced search page.
However, the first thing all of my users ask is how do they reset or clear the quick search entries after the search is complete or if they make a mistake.
I have watched them and they will all just go and de-select all the entries they made one at a time. (very time consuming)
The "Show all" button appears up above the sidebar whenever there is an entry into any of the search fields, but is often overlooked by the user.
I would suggest to add a "Clear" or "Reset" button next to the "Search" button at the bottom of the quick search sidebar.
