Edit/Delete unavailbale using userid/pass access

Hi:
I setup security as users can see all data; users can edit/modify your own data only.
But when logged as normal user and add data, this user only can see and can't edit or delete your own data.
I set users permission groups with same result. How i can fix this?

Hi,
when you use users can see all data; users can edit/modify your own data only security mode make sure OwnerID field don't appear on the Add page. In this case this field will be autopopulated with current user ID.

I am using Username located in Database and not OwnerID (like appear in tutorials), i am using Createdby field and don't appear in Add Command. Is possible that this problem is because i am using the username like OwnerID?

I'm confused.
Tell me how are Users and Main tables are related. What fields do you use to link them?

I have a "Users" table with 2 fields "Username" and "Password". In the another tables i have a field called "Createdby". For each table, I indicate to ASPRunner that "OwnerID" is located in table "Users" ("Username") and must store in "Createdby" field in each table.

This setup looks correct. Just make sure CreatedBy field don't appear on the ADD page.
If this doesn't help zip and send your ASP files, project file and your sample database to support@xlinesoft.com for investigation.

I check this error in version 3.1. This is a bug in version 3.1 to fix I will need download version 3.1a or 3.2 beta.
