I have one question:
How do I populate the OwnerID field when I create a new user? If I don´t allow NULLs I get an error message, if I allow NULLs the OwnerID field value is NULL.

I assume you use one of Advanced Search modes.
In this case you need to remove OwnerID field from the ADD page to enable auto-insertion. You can do this on the Formatting tab in ASPRunnerPro.

For the life of me, I don't see where the list boxes are created (as per your description in what is included in version 3.2)

  Do you have any instructions on these new options?
  Also, I have found that version 3.2 beta 3 is not creating a menu for the default user. I have filled in the info manually in Case Else arr = Array() which is empty
  
  in the menu.asp However, there is no drop down menu for the default user (ok when choosing exisiting user name) Any hints?
  Also, still cannot search on dates!

Hi,.. I'm currently using the beta release cause i really need the multilingual support but when i try to format a field in hyperlink the program hangs,... in any other format it works fine,.. is this a bug ? or is it any way to solve this problem ? does this happened to anybody else ???

I really need to buy this program but i need the multilingual support and the only version that has that is giving me this problem..

please help !!!

make sure you use the latest ASPRunnerPro update.

To create a listbox with multiple selection set Edit as type of any field to Lookup wizard and set Select size to any value greater than one.
Linked dropdown boxes, filtered dropdown boxes, dropdown boxes with custom display can be set on the same screen.
Default user will be assigned default permissions. Create a user group DEFAULT where you can set default permissions.
If search on date issue still appear after you rebuild project using the latest update send your files to support@xlinesoft.com for investigation.

The latest version seems to have a problem within the default template
I added quotes around ##USE_RTE## in the aspfunctions.asp file and then it works.

ALLFIELDS## if strField="##FIELD##" then UseRTE = ##USE_RTE## end if

I am aware that I need to create a default user group and have been all along. However, within the new version - when a default user logs in - the menu page as well as the quick jump menu is BLANK!
The date search now appears to work - thanks

I just came across 1 minor error which I wanted to report. In the miscellaneous dialog when I refresh the template to update the changes, It adds duplicates of the same template. thought you guys might want to fix this bug.

Looks like all templates have the same problem:
include/Acessos_aspfunctions.asp, line 386, column 34

if strField="Grupo" then UseRTE = ##USE_RTE##end if
Problem solved if lines removed. In edit view problem persist even if i check ritch text format.
There is majors improvements, great job!.

I wanted to report what errors are still remaining in the beta 3 version.
I have been able to work around them for now, but it takes alot of time.

1. If you create an administrator security account and then a default security account, there is no menu or quick jump menu for the default account. If you create only the default account from the beginning of the project than you get the menus.
   
2. If you do not check advanced search and only wish to use the default search, nothing appears in the search list in "field orders and totals" If you check advanced search then they appear.
   
3. I thought that the date search was working, but it does not and if it does it only works when you search using more than... or less than...
   
4. I am having a problem with using the check box as a choice in the formatting screen--this is the error i am receiving.

5. If I try to create a new template from the default template, I receive an error message that includes the path to asprunnerpro/download.asp

Hi, not quite a technical question of mine, but is there any way to display the edit and copy columns only if one logins with an administrator account.

Cause when I log in as a guest the columns are displayed (of course without the posibility to edit or copy) blank and they use space for nothing, and I can really use that space for another fields of my really large base.

Any release date for official 3.2?

Also, last week I installed 3.2 beta into another folder called "ASPRunnerProBeta" bacause it seemed like when I beta tested 3.1 a while back it seemed to mess things up working in 3.0. But this also seemed to mess up my in progress work in 3.1 so I had to save my custom templates, uninstall all and reinstall 3.1 and things returned to normal. Are there other files besides in the Program Files that ASP 3.2 beta writes to - maybe overwrinting some previous version functionality?

Maybe I should install 3.2beta on another machine? Do you guys see any problems testing betas?

with ASPRunner Pro 3.2 version you can use direct links to Edit, Add, Search results pages from browser. Just copy an URL.
The official release of ASPRunner Pro 3.2 will be available this week.

It would be better to use single copy of ASPRunner and don't install it into another folder.
