Column width on list page

I am having trouble setting the column width on the list page. I have tried changing the column width on the View Format field, but it does not seem to make a difference. Any suggestions?

Holly,
you need to make sure there is enough space on the list page to display this column. If you don't have enough space Internet Explorer ignores table column width.

I do have many columns. Is there a way to increase the width of the list page?

Holly,
ASPRunner builds ASP page that utilizes 100% of browser window width. If this is still not enough I would recommend to use Vertical layout on the list page.
