Header and Footer Format

Hi
I have seen the header and footer tutorial and grasp the basics of it, however what I'm trying to do is to get the asp runner generated output to sit in the middle of my web page. At the moment the generated tables go beyond the borders that I have set up in my header.
So I guess what I'm asking is how do I size the table output to fit within the borders of my website.
If someone could at least give me a clue as to where to start I'd be grateful. I'm using 6.1 if that helps

Ok I know I must be being thick please can anyone tell me what is wrong with the header code below because the table contents are still appearing below the left hand table I have inserted in my header rather than to the right of it:
