W3WP.exe process causes very hight CPU utilization

Hello
Everything works great but the response time is bad from 40 seconds up to more that 1 minute with tables with 3000 records or more and using some look up wizards or dorp down boxes.
We found that the W3WP.exe process causes 100% or almost 100% CPU utilization on the server (Good and Big Windows 2003 Server) with SQLServer 2000 when Add, Edit or Save to big tables. Small table no problem, 1 second.
I think we need to change the way we are doing the dropdown boxes with big tables that is causing the problem. Know if that is causing the problem why it is also so slow saving thees recors? shouldn't be the saving independent of dropdown boxes?

Hi,
there is a problem in ASPRunner 3.1 with large drop down boxes on Add/Edit pages. We fixing this issue in version 3.2.
However this problem isn't related to Save function.

You can use SQL Profiler to see what SQL statements take so long.

I am using ASPRunner 5.2 and am having the same issue. I am noticing that both forms I am having the issue with have several document upload fields. I have a form that is much larger in number of fields, but it never causes this problem.
Using Windows 2003 and SQL Server 2005
Any thoughts?
