Is there a way of finding out the line number?

I want to know if there is a variable that can be accessed which says what page and line of the display is being output. This is so that on page n, line 1 I can put a "continued" narrative in one of the fields.
(By way of explanation, I have formatted a file for display by ASPRunner which has multiple lines per item, so in the file creation I don't output certain fields so they do not appear on multiple lines. However I cannot control page breaks, so it is possible a heading might appear at the bottom of a previous page. As a compromise I just want to say "continued" as per the example below

It isn't an error. I just want to know if I can find out whether I am on the first line of the display so that I can do something based on whether that is true or not.

Unfortunately there is no way to check first line on the print page.
