Regroup view list by some criteria (a field in DB)

Trying PhpRunner 5.

Is it possible to regroup view by a criteria in Main Page List?

Eg:

  • I have these fields in my DB: Name ; Month of birth; Year of birth.
  • When records will be added, at the main page, these records will appear regrouped by the year (ideally by the year and after, by the month)
  • Visually, like that:

    2005

    January

    John Smith

    Joe Fargo

    2006

    January

    Lorem Ipsum

    Garry P.

    September

    Mary Jane
    If coding is needed, please tell me the way .

Hi,
I recommend you to have a look at the reports.

To create report right click on the table name on the Datasource tables tab, choose "Create report" option. Then select Year of birth and Month of birth as groups fields on the Report: Group fields tab.
