db connection error

i make a full web application using win xp and xampp as server, and i assign 10.11.12.1/24 as IP. The website working fine in server. But the problem comes when i want to open the web from client connected to the lan (10.11.12.4/24). It display an error. I tried to change the localhost in the db connection, but it's not working. So, any suggestion?
