Search functions are returning wrong values

Search function is not working correctly. I have a field called 'Author ORG'. When I search for a particular name such as Dunn, it would return records with Dunn as the Author, but it would also return 3-4 records that has Null value for the Author. Why is this? It works perfectly for my other fields such as Title, Year... Is Author ORG a reserve word that is used within the code. ..??

Actually, it does it for my other fields too. I just tested it with my Type field, and it returned all the White Papers I requested, but it also returned like 8 records that has a null value in the Type field.
