Master Detail update master table workaround?

Hi There,
I have a master table checkbox that I need to be able to update. I'm leaving the details table alone without update. I think updates are not supported yet. Is there a workaround this?

BTW using an inner join

I'm not sure that I understand your question.

Please clarify what you need to update.
