The easiest way to copy layouts

What are your experiences of copying add page layouts to edit/view pages? If to simply copy html codes, then from which to which line? What would happen with field properties? Could we expect here some automation in future builds?

Hi,
field controls are the same for add and edit pages.

I recommend you to compare add and edit page before. Then you can apply settings for changed edit page manually.

I've wondered about this as well - it would be very helpful to be able to copy layout from list page to printer page also. Is this possible or perhaps a future enhancement?

Hi,
unfortunatele there is no easy way to copy print layout to the list page and vice versa.
