Hi,
I am having a problem uploading large files. Does fine with smaller files. Is there a setting or anything that needs to be changed?
Thanks,
Bonnie

What exactly is the error message?

Earlier the error said connection with the server was terminated but not it's just not going anywhere (the bar looks like its uploading but doesn't) and gives no error.
Thanks,
Bonnie

There should be some error message.
Usually you copy and paste the error message to Google to find a solution. Hard to tell what might be wrong without seeing details.
Check this article just in case:

My ISP support says that I must indicate in my asp scripts to allow larger files? This link that you gave above indicates that a file (metabase.xml) must be modified - where would I find the file?
Thanks,
Bonnie

This file is on the server and you cannot modify it (your ISP can).

So Sergey - do I understand correctly that the ASPRunner application has an upload file size limit unless my ISP modifies a file?
Thanks,
Bonnie

ASPRunnerPro application doesn't have upload limits. Your web server does (any web server in fact).

Guess I'll have to see about hosting it on my own server since the ISP won't make a server modification.
Thanks.

I just thought of another question Sergey. Would I have the same issue with your ASP NET and PHP products?
Thanks,
Bonnie

Sergey Kornilov admin 4/15/2009

Bonnie,
yes, you'll have the same issue with ASP.NET and PHP. This is a web server specific issue and affect all applications that upload files.
We offer web hosting to our clients that doesn't have this limitation. You can check http://www.inspirunner.com or contact me directly for more info.

As soon as I am able I would like to move my site. It's a scary proposition as I have had the site on the same service for many years and cannot afford to have it down. Can you tell me where the servers are located physically and if you have redundancy?
Thanks.
