I have built an application using phprunner where I can add agents. whever I try to add a new agent by default it takes AgentID as 0. But after I edit it to the corect AgentID and save it it becomes OK. But why everytime it takes 0 as the default. It is awkward after adding each agent I have to edit everytime .

Hi,
please make sure you have not set up User can see and edit their own records only security method on the Advanced security settings dialog on the Security tab for this table.
If it doesn't help publish your project on Demo Account and open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending a URL to your pages along with instructions on reproducing this error.

yes, your guess is right. I have setup User can see and edit their own records only security method on the Advanced security settings dialog on the Security tab .Because whenever the Agents will log in to their account they should be able to view his own data only, he must not be able to edit or add any data only view his own data. The admin will add/edit/delete the agents's data and the agents will only view data corresponding to his account. How to achieve this without the above mentioned security option? In my previous question I was referring to the admin user who was adding agents, as agents can only have viewing permission to his own record only.

Thanks Jane. Got it. Sometimes automated things prevents us from thinking ourself.
