I'm not sure if it's possible already with the new menu biulder or in the plans, but how great would it be to be able to create "normal pages" (not linked to the database) in the Visual editor.
This would be great for thank you pages after submitting info or just general info. Simple editing built with the rich text editor.
Just a thought...

I agree with this proposal. In that case you could keep the pages within the same formatting and security system
It would be a great enhangement.

Thanks, i would love it.
Always face with situation to create a Help or FAQ page within phpr

and it takes time and some time painful to make it same look and feel.

Hi,

I've not got PHPRunner on this PC, but would this be possible as an intermediate option?

  1. Create a custom view called something useful (eg, "Help")
  2. Set it to have "list" page only
  3. Go to the visual editor
  4. Delete any columns, action buttons etc
  5. Add your "help" text.
I'll play around with it tonight, but it sounds feasible. It'll include the appropriate security, etc as well.

Tried it, and in principle it works, but I hit some templating issues (for some reason, some standard text I inserted in the page editor wasn't being rendered via the browser).
I won't play around any more, as I don't need this just yet, but the idea is there for you to run with.
Regards,

Andy
