Dear Jane, Sergey,

for the benefit of all forum users would it possible to please provide us with clear steps about how to add additional data series manually in PHPR?

May be you could describe both chart and report tweaks to include additional data series?
I have been using AnyChart to build charts without data series restrictions and appreciate it is hard to include more than 4 in PHPR interface but surely there is a way to add a data series manually in the relevant places.
Is this possible and can we pls have a clear description of necessary changes? (what php and template files to be changed)
many thanks
Hich

Hi,
unfortunately there is no easy way to increase number of series in PHPRunner.

That's why we need your expertise Jane <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=38708&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

The limitation is not that relevant for reports as I can group and calculate max/min/avg using SQL and still get around the limit of 4 data series.

I was wondering first if it was possible for charts? May be you can provide us with a description of what's required so that a few of us users can attempt to do this?

I fully understand that this won't be supported by new releases but usually this is very helpful for some charts with many data series.

Your help would be greatly appreciated if you could find a manual way to add more than 4 data series even if there are limitations (i.e not be able to search the chart data or use a simplified smarty template page).

PHPR is a great tool and it definitly needs such funnctionality as most projects are likely to grow and in my case I don't want to go back to using JPGraph to display more than 4 data series.
Is it possible to include this as a feature request for next release? again even a manual tweak manipulating the output files directly would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks
Hich

Hich,
we do plan to eliminate this limitation in the next version.
