Unable to save - no error

My edit forms are not saving changes. I am not gettign any error it just doesn't save any of my updates. Any suggestions?
To add some data:
This does not apppear to be a db connection issue or security issue because I am able to add new records and for the user admin table I am able to add and edit without an error.
I am thinking i must have a problem with the code on the edit page for the submit button but I am not sure what I might have done. I did add a second save button to the top of the edit form.
