Virus Attack-Disable PHPRunner

Turn off McAfee.
This is a false positive. I've emailed McAfee already. Hopefully they'll be able to fix this in the next update.

yep, it deleted both phprunner 4.2 and 5.0 phprunner.exe. I'm dead in the water.

Many of us had this same issue (starting today) using the ASP version.
I wouldn't recommend turning off your virus scanning software!!
As mentioned by another user, we resolved by excluding "C:\Program Files\ASPRunnerPro6.0\" directory from "on access scan" properties

then resinstalled the application.
Hope this method (or something similar) works for you.

Today I restored the deleted files from within McAfee and PHPRunner is so far OK.
I have not made any changes or added any exclusions to the virus checker.
