Appologies if I have missed this but in V5.0 how do you tell it not to cretate a menu item for a table.
I have lots of Master/Child relationships and I want to keep it down to 2 or 3 menu items.

go to the miscellaneous tab and take the tick out of "Create Menu Item"

Yes, it was perhaps a bad idea to move it from where it was in V4.!!!!!

How do you rename the menu link. So instead of the table name (like CSS) it can say something like "My Layouts" in V5? Is there a way other than editing the language menu?

You have to use the label editor....on the misc tab.
